Fact Sheet on Requirements for Very Small Quantity Generators of Hazardous Waste
This fact sheet explains the rules for very small quantity generators (VSQGs) of hazardous waste. If a business generates no more than 220 pounds (100 kilograms) of hazardous waste per month, they are a VSQG. VSQGs must comply with three basic waste management requirements to remain exempt from the full hazardous waste regulations that apply to generators of larger quantities.
