2019 Regional/State/Tribal Innovation Projects
2019 Regional-State-Tribal Innovation Projects
EPA’s Office of Research and Development (ORD) provided an opportunity for the EPA Regions to submit proposals for innovative projects to address state and tribal science priorities. For 2019, we are excited to support eight state projects, connecting with 12 states, and one territory. This year three tribal projects across four tribal partners will also be supported. The innovative approaches focus on advanced monitoring technologies, social science, prize competitions, and citizen science. These projects directly address environmental priorities shared by EPA, states and tribes and will advance science essential to environmental protection. Find out more information about the projects below.
