Region 7 - Contact Us About Lead Tips and Complaints
To Report a Tip or Complaint About Suspected Violations of the Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule
In 2010, EPA implemented the Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule to ensure that contractors working in housing and child-occupied facilities built before 1978 take the following actions to protect owners and tenants from exposure to lead-based paint:
- Be certified by EPA to conduct RRP work
- Provide the Renovate Right brochure to owners and tenants before beginning work
- Minimize exposure to dust and paint chips created during work
If you suspect the RRP Rule has been violated, EPA encourages you to submit a tip or complaint on the form below. Please provide as much information as possible. When completed, click on the "Submit Tip or Complaint" button and the form will be sent directly to the EPA Region 7 Lead Team.
