This project includes improvements to conveyance and reduces untreated wastewater flows in the Tijuana River by providing additional capacity to divert or reuse treated wastewater from existing wastewater treatment plants in Mexico.

The feasibility analysis technical memorandum for Project #7 outlines an estimate of capital costs; an estimate of design, project, and construction management costs; an estimate of operation and maintenance (O&M) costs; a rough project implementation schedule; a summary of regulatory, engineering, and potential implementation issues; and a preliminary summary of social and environmental impacts.
