Purpose |
Provides grants to parcel(s) that are zoned for agricultural use, where unauthorized solid waste disposal has occurred, and where the site(s) are in need of cleanup in order to abate a nuisance or public health and safety threat and/or a threat to the environment. |

A site may be eligible for cleanup funding if the parcel(s) is(are) zoned for agricultural use, where unauthorized solid waste disposal has occurred, and where the site(s) is(are) in need of cleanup in order to abate a nuisance or public health and safety threat and/or a threat to the environment. Since Tribal land is typically not zoned, contact Farm and Ranch Cleanup grant program for specifics about how farm and ranch definition is applied on Tribal land.
