Web Standard: Audio files Use MP3

Definitions:

  • Audio files play sound.
  • There are no images.
  • Max file size limit is 1000MB.

Content Requirements:

  • Audio files should be in MP3 format only, technology agnostic, playable in the browser.  This means you should not use proprietary formats such as AIFF or WAV.
  • Include a transcript to meet 508 requirements. (The WebCMS will prompt you to add the transcript when uploading your audio file.) 
    • Transcripts should be text files only.
